Marriage Conference Service Project
Each year, the Bryn Athyn Church hosts a Marriage Conference. This year they are adding a service component to the conference and in doing so, they have created several volunteer opportunities for the community.
Come help make care packages for couples who need a little extra boost…those who are dealing with health issues, job loss, a special needs child, deployment etc. We will fill boxes with fun things, stories, articles, surprises, bubbles, candy, cookies, books, hearts, hand written cards etc.
To participate in the Care packages for marriage you can
- Help ahead of time
- Help fill them
- Donate for postage
- Help deliver local ones
To help ahead of time you can donate items to go into the packages. Think about what would be fun for a couple to receive….. things to read, playful Valentine hearts, poppers to celebrate with, yummy things, handmade items, glow sticks, warm socks, poems, magnets, coffee mugs, cds… To help fill the packages, come on Valentine’s day at 1:30 to the Society building, and help make the boxes full of playfulness and love.
