Charity in Action is a non-profit organization that promotes service as a lifestyle by providing peak service experiences and service education.  Everything we do is based on the idea that service has the transformative power to do good, build community and promote personal growth.  We accomplish our mission by combining and leveraging the commitment of volunteers in coordination with other community service organizations, established aid agencies, clubs and church groups.

Charity In Action began as disaster relief organization in response to Hurricane Katrina.  Recently, its mission has expanded to support community service of all kinds.

We are dedicated to providing meaningful service opportunities in the local Philadelphia area. In addition to that, we organize service trips nationally and internationally. We also serve as hub for other service activities not directly organized by us. If you are involved in some kind of charitable outreach, please tell us about it!  We’d love to support you.
